Tea and Sympathy is a quintessential corner of England in the heart of Greenwich Village, New York, USA. Thier menu includes such favourites as bangers ‘n mash, shepherd’s pie, welsh rarebit, roast beef with Yorkshire pudding. Finish off with a treacle pudding or rhubarb and custard.

Catering
Because their restaurant is small and nearly always busy they are unable to cater for parties or large gatherings in the restaurant. However they can cater your event in your own home or office. So if you are interested in sandwiches, afternoon tea or especially delicious english baked cakes do give us a call so we can discuss your requirements.

Perhaps you would like to throw an english dinner party, they can provide the food… and if you give them your dishes they will return them full of sumptuous food that you can pass off as your own!

Carry on Tea & Sympathy’s name comes from the classic English comedy movies. In the store you’ll find your favorite British groceries, chocolates, sweets, teas alongside authentic tea pots, mugs, to name but a few. They also have an extensive collection of all things ‘Union Jack’ and a range of our very own T-Shirts if you’re feeling a bit risqué!  They deliver locally (within Manhattan) and can also ship orders to the US and Canada. Please contact Tea & Sympathy for information.
